Parking

Finding parking in downtown Princeton can be tricky because most spaces are on-street and metered. Our office is located at 44 Nassau Street, Suite 361. Please allow extra time to find a spot, particularly during busy periods.

Meter hours

On-street parking meters in Princeton are enforced:

• Monday-Thursday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Friday-Saturday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Sunday: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Parking is free on major holidays. Meter hours and rates are set by the municipality and change from time to time; the town’s Parking in Princeton page has current details.

Pay by phone

We recommend downloading the official Park Princeton app before your visit. This app allows you to:

• Pay for meters and pay-stations via your phone
• Receive notifications when your time is about to expire
• Extend your parking session remotely (where allowed)

Garages

For longer visits, consider one of these garages:

• Spring Street Municipal Parking Garage (entrance on Paul Robeson Place, next to Princeton Public Library)
• Chambers Street Garage (private)
• Hulfish Street Garage (private, near Palmer Square)
